The Weekly Rounds
my fave 87 year old podcaster, where I spend a lot of my time these days, a highlight of the week, and of course the under $100 faves
Let’s get right to it!
What I’m Wearing This Week:
Wearing: white & brown dress 0, metal rim sunglasses, my sandals
- I got these woven mary jane flats b/c I love the more squared off toe - it feels very fresh and current. They’re also cushioned and so comfy so I’ve been wearing a lot!!
- It got quite warm in Charleston this week so I broke out my favorite biker shorts. The length is perfect so they’re not booty popping. And they’re super soft and comfy but also really hold you in!
- I continue to wear this Hart necklace A LOT, I hope you guys aren’t getting bored of it. It just goes with everything and is kinda perfect.
- I’m wearing this light cardigan today - it’s one of my faves and I love the little lace trim at the bottom.
What I’m Buying/Eyeing This Week:
Wearing: green embroidered linen jacket 0, white tee, my jeans
- I just got my Hill House delivery and CANNOT wait to wear them. Naturally the temp just dipped so I gotta wait a minute. I got this white mini dress and this pretty green stripe mini dress.
- My fringe Doen pants are now in a pretty lighter color - perfect for spring and summer events!!
- This new Tuckernuck dress is really cute and would work for so many occasions.
- Do you remember when I said that I thought the crown affair dry shampoo was causing irritation on my hands? I WAS WRONG. It wasn’t that!! And I couldn’t be happier to be wrong. Because we all know it’s the very best working dry shampoo out there. And the scent it heavenly. I’m happy to report I can use it again and just reordered another jar b/c I’m almost empty.
- I treated myself to a new spring necklace. I’m so excited it arrived last night and it’s just so fun and gorgeous.
What I’m Reading/Watching/Listening To:

- I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to Maury Povich’s podcast. If you too grew up watching his show, then you know he’s seen some things… The fact that he’s still creating such great content at 87 years old is such a gift to us all.
- Okay I finished It’s Different This Time - it was just lovely. I really liked the male character especially. And I just started First Time Caller. So far so cute - it’s a take on Sleepless in Seatle.
- I really haven’t watched must new tv this week, just kinda keeping up with Shrinking, Love Story, and . I did start Vladimir. I can’t tell what I think about it but I’m pretty far into it and will likely finish. Are any of you watching?
This Week’s Highlight:
Wearing: black long sleeve top ON SALE xs, white pants, my sunglasses,
This week’s highlight was a simple one. I went for a morning walk downtown South of Broad with some girlfriends. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and it was just a joyful happy inspiring way to kick off my day. Highly recommend. Heads up though a friend when early to get everyone’s coffee orders at Sorelle which was important b/c the line is always out the door - insane. I feel like next time grabbing coffee from Fast & French next door would be smart.

- “On the hunt for neutral flat sandals.” ~ Let me tell you these are the best. i have them in two colors and again two more colors in the heel version.
- “I need some pool sandals that work for the beach but are also cute.” ~ These are my pool sandals that I keep at Coral House. They’re super comfy and easy and chic. If I want a dressier look I wear these.
- “I don’t love my arms and am looking for some dress options for vacation that cover them.” ~ First, I think you should wear what makes you happy. Don’t worry about your arms. But here are some of my favorite ideas - this dress just arrived and it’s gorgeous! I also love this flowy long dress and this really fun one too.

- Y’all I just ordered it last night so I don’t even have it yet but I can already tell you we will ALL LOVE the new Loving Tan’s 10 minute self tanner.
- Tarte’s F&F sale ends tonight and it’s 30% off the whole site which is incredible. I LOVE their maracuja juicy lip plump - I have like 4 of them. Great idea is to order some for Easter Baskets!! And also their tubing mascara is so so good.
- Speaking of Easter baskets, BonBon just sent me a little package of sweets and y’all it’s so good and the branding is just so cute too. These would be fabulous in an easter basket.
- If you’re looking for an Easter theme hostess gift this new Hotel Lobby candle would be perfect!
- The Spanx sale is really good - I have and love the barrel leg sweatpants - super comfortable and cute. This lightweight long sleeve crop tee is perfect for this time of year right now.
I was so excited to grab a coffee at Sorelle today and then saw the line out the door?! Going to have to listen to Maury!
