Why I'd like Nantucket to get off my algorithm for a bit, the new fun pants i ordered in two different colors, the new show I just started, and under $100 wins!
Let’s get to it!
What I’m Wearing:
Wearing: mini printed dress 0, gold sandals, blue tote, shell necklace
- In case you missed it I did a dress try on haul of this long fall print dress, this blue linen fit and flare dress, this long draw waist dress, and this fun orange linen mini dress!
- These cotton twill drawstring pants (I got them in black size xs) from Faherty have such a good fit. The material is a really nice soft material!
- I found more sizes of my ticking stripe dress that sold out so fast. It’s one of my favorites, I really love the shape of the neckline.
- I carried this cute blue tote downtown yesterday. It’s the perfect little size and the color is unlike any other color I have in my closet.
- New lipstick alert, LOVING this one.
What I’m Eying & Buying:
Wearing: knit embroidered top xs, mother jeans
- I treated myself to some new back to school pajamas. Because why not. This is my favorite style to sleep in.
- This is a great fall statement making skirt!
- Hard care loving this new cardigan. The colors are really soft and pretty and I think the length hits really nicely at the hip.
- I have these jeans in a darker color and love the new lighter color for fall!
- I bought this green dress and went up a size to the small. I have it in two other colors in XS, which fits too, but I wanted this one to have a looser vibe.
What I’m Reading, Watching, & Listening To:

Major catch up this past week on all the things. I like to multi task and listen to podcasts or books while doing something else, and one of the things I’ve been doing is trying out my new Shark Facial Pro. Have you seen this thing? It basically clears your pores and exfoliates. I’m so fascinated by this and was horrified by all that came out of my skin the first day I tried it last week lol. Anyway, I’ve been doing that whilst starting Mad Mabel on audible! This book is blowing up and I’m so excited about it.
Also reading The Emma Lions series. I just started the third and can’t stop. It’s so fun and light and different!!
Shows - Currently in the middle of and loving Sterling Point. The cast!! My goodness they’re all so beautiful and talented. I need to get to Canada. To the lakes, to be specific. This show is just really really well done.
I flew through 5 Star Weekend. That was an incredible adaptation. I know we chatted about this already but the cast was so good, minus the husband imo. And I’m so excited for season two.
Also pivoting a bit while we’re on the topic of Nantucket… I haven’t wanted to contribute to the discussion around the No Influencers store sign in a Nantucket store, but I just saw the store is now producing and selling the sign. I don’t know. I do think they have absolutely every right to ask shoppers to not take photos and videos in their store. I think that is a super valid and respectable thing to request. I think a sign that says “no cameras” or “no phones” would have been a kinder way to go about it. What’s been the most unfortunate thing to see come out of all of this is all of the really hateful commentary towards the influencer industry. The comments have been diabolical and a little disappointing to see. Maybe it’s the summer heat. But in general, and i hate to say this b/c what a lovely place, I wish Nantucket would get off my algorithm for a bit.

I also really loved my capsule collection round up of favorites. A few of my most worn pieces are these black pants, this white tee, and this cotton long black dress.

~ I just broke down and ordered two pairs of these pants. The hardest part was narrowing it down to just two b/c the colors!!! They’re so fun and fresh. I feel these will def be coming with me to London this year. I also just ordered these - ifkyk - they’re worth it. Loving this new pair on shopbop, too.
Under $100 Wins:
Wearing: blue floral dress xxs, woven tote, nude flip flops
- I just got Caroline Chambers new cook book Make It Fast and you guys!!!! Get this asap, just in time for back to school dinners. We are making the crispy pork chili verde tacos tonight.
- I just got these pants in pink. So if you’re keeping track I now have the light blue and the pink.
- Needed is doing 25% off subscriptions now through 8/17. I’ve been taking the multi-vitamin. I’ll admit, the jar smells gnarly, but it tastes fine! The pricing is really reasonable imo, and it’s packed with nutrients. I’m getting back into all the things this month!
- My most favorite skin concealer I’ve ever uses. Followed closely by the no make up make up of course.
- I just got a whole mix and match assortment of the prettiest paper plates I’ve ever seen in my life. Different sizes prints and colors that all coordinate. I’m obsessed. Do I know exactly when I’ll use these? No, but I like to have them on hand b/c the time does eventually come!
