Let’s get to it!
What I’m Wearing:
Wearing: mint & yellow print dress, gold strappy sandals, cylinder cord necklace, Savette bag
- These are what I call my “mudroom slide on shoes”. The shoes that I wear throughout the day the most b/c as i’m leaving the house casually (which is most of the time) I’ll just slide these on and go. I love them. I have the cinder color.
- I wore this blue and white maxi dress to lunch on the patio at The Cooper with some girlfriends and I must say she’s a good one and collects compliments which is always fun.
- I’ve been carrying this wicker basket tote (I have the blue and white liner insert, there are a few color options and they’re all great) and it just feels like summer.
- I wore this long dress in NYC last week for our broadway night. It has a really nice flattering fit and is so well made.
- Just got this new necklace and it’s another fun statement piece that isn’t also in your face. I like the colors I feel like it will go with a lot.
What I’m Eying and Buying:
Wearing: blue stripe top xs, blue stripe pants xs, gold ball flats, terrycloth tote bag, green enamel necklace
- You know a print is good when both Lilly and I buy it! I got the mini dress and she got the one piece swimsuit!
- I am LOVING Marie Oliver’s new collection, one of my faves I’ve seen this season. My faves are this dress with the wooden bead accent, and this adorable “floragram” skirt with the optional red tie belt, and these shorts are actual perfection.
- This stripe dress is gorgoeus and currently 30% off. I love the hem!
- Eyeing this adorable blue dress from Julia & Thomas Berolzheimer travel collection with tuckernuck. I just saw a friend of mine wearing it and it’s gorgeous in person!
- I got this gorgeous silk tank and silk skirt set to bring to Harbour Island and I can’t wait to wear it! The green color is perfection.
What I’m Watching, Reading, & Listening To:
I just watched Voicemails for Isabelle and you guys it is SO good. Predictable yes. But that never bothers me. It’s a fantastic romcom that will have you crying and laughing and smiling!! It’s on netflix.
I finished Dolly All The Time and LOVED. Maybe one of my favorite books of the year. Highly recommend it. And I started American Fantasy and so far so good, I think I’m going to love this book.
Do you listen to many podcasts? I was recently interviewed on Allie Kochinsky’s podcast and we had the most fun book chat about Pink Sand Summer and the story and the process!
Highlight Of the Week:
Okay two major highlights of the week, one was NYC with Lilly. We had the best time shopping and going to see The Outsiders on Broadway and just chilling out. We stayed at The Bowery Hotel and loved it. Perfect walkable location to lots of great places and shopping. Had great success at Farm Rio, Sezane, Reformation, Alo, and Hill House. We also walked by the Museum of Ice Cream and got lucky and could walk in without an appt. Never too old for these things. Ate at Pop Up Bagels and Din Tai Fung, both Lilly requests. And got some personalized m&ms for Josh for Father’s Day.
The other big highlight has been getting ready for the Book Club Trip I’m going on tomorrow with some girl friends to celebrate Pink Sand Summer! We’re going to Harbour Island to do a little tour of the places and things mentioned in the book. I am SO excited for this. Of Counsel PR helped plan the trip and put together these amazing gift baskets from Loeffler Randall, Hart Jewelry, Sunshine Tienda! Everyone got a different one. DMs From The Week:
Wearing: lemon print ruffle mini dress xs, beaded bag, gold sandals
- “Can you share some casual daytime dresses for summer?” ~ A few of my personal faves include this white dress this green mini dress (comes in a few colors) and this long dress. I also love this new tuckernuck arrival.
- “What is Lilly wearing in NYC?” ~ I’m paraphrasing this question b/c there were a few versions of it. She wore this long dress to the Outsiders. She wore these sandals everywhere. She wore this long floaty dress for her second Broadway night when she went to see Stranger Things. And she wore last year’s version of these embroidered pants shopping in Soho. Oh and she carried this little bag every day.
What’s In My ShopMy Storefront:
As always my ShopMy Storefront has everything including all of my outfits and lots of fun round ups. My favorite this past week was the latest What Would Lucy Wear series where I dream up fun outfits that the FMC (female main character) Lucy from Pink Sand Summer would wear. It’s so funny b/c Grace Atwood messaged me laughing b/c she’s actually packing this dress for the book club trip this week!
Under $100 Wins:

- If you’re looking for a great tank look no further than this grey scoop neck tank, I have it in white too. I like the fit it has the slightest bit of stretch, and you can wear a regular bra!
- A couple of weeks ago my friend Haskell send me an article about creatine and I swear ever since I keep seeing how good it is for women’s brain fog, strength, and energy levels. Is anyone taking it? I always thought of it as a body building guy kind of thing, but not the case. Arrae (I’ve used their bloat capsules before!) just came out with a tone creatine gummy specifically for women and it has a few different flavors I want to try!
- Bauble Bar sent me one of their custom beaded friendship bracelets, it says Chassity and it’s so freaking cute!
- I have the white version of this Jcrew dress but I might actually like this version that’s on sale for $99 more!
- It’s a big laundry day today since I’m leaving in the morning and I’m washing all my bras to take with me. Especially these.
