On My Radar
and the solid reasons why
Happy Saturday. I finished Five Star Weekend last night. My goodness, that was an incredibly made adaptation. So beautiful to watch. The cast of women was superb. (Though I will say the husband really fell flat for me, anyone else?) THRILLED to see we are getting a season 2!
Here are the items I’ve been saving that are taking up brain space.
Striped Cropped Button Down - I love a crisp button down that hits right at the waist. It feels structured and flattering. This one is a great price point by a tried and true, too.
Slouchy Suede Bag - Suede everything for fall. This one is the perfect size, the perfect slouchy shape, the perfect length shoulder handle. And it comes in lots of neutral colors.
Taffeta Pants - I ordered these as soon as I saw them come back in stock. I have them in green too. It’s easily my favorite “everyday” staple that immediately earns cool points.
Beaded Necklace - Mixed enamel beads stationed all around the necklace, goes with everything. Love the subtle hit of color.
Chunky Fair Isle Cardigan - A chic and cozy piece to throw over a white tee and jeans. I love the oversized lapel and the color palette.
Long Black Dress - The easiest thing in your closet is a long black dress you can throw on and slide on some flats and roll out in.
Matching Knit Set - A runner up to the black dress in terms of easy to throw on and go in, is a matching set. I love this print. These would be great as separates, too.
Sporty Half Zip - If you build it they will come, ie if you buy it you will play in it. Or maybe not. But at least you’ll look cute.
Classic Oval Watch - But make it one that doesn’t break the budget. This watch is pretty enough to sub in as jewelry. Ovals are my favorite shape. as evidenced by my own wedding ring and watch.
Canvas Tote - The classic tote got a little face lift with this adorable leather tied bow. Obsessed. It has a snap closure.
Green Barrel Pants - The barrel shape isn’t going anywhere, which I love. These are made with a soft utility vibe, great for throwing on with sweaters and button downs and tees this fall.
Blue Flats - The perfect in-between rounded and square toe flat. All the colors. Margaux makes the exquisite shoes, I have many pairs.
Statement Outfit - A fun printed top paired with a coordinating printed skirt. I’m obsessed with this look.
Classic Rollneck Sweater - This sweater can be worn with the buttons in the front or down the back. Cute as an open cardigan, too. Classic JCrew never grows old.
BONUS #15 - The jeans I can’t stop thinking about.
